AR “SELFIE” APPMany interesting things await us at the Festetics Imre Experience Center: game farm, museum exhibition, virtual reality and augmented reality (AR).
The essence of the application is that by scanning the appropriate markers, we can see different living creatures on our phone screen that appear in our own environment.
We transferred the idea of ​​the application to the Festetics Imre Experience Center and expanded the apps possibilities.ANIMAL WORLD OF THE FORESTBakonyerdő Zrt.
takes care of an area of ​​62,000 hectares, which includes countless important animal communities and the maintenance of the forest ecosystem.
We tried to show more of them: we also placed the markers in the Experience Center, so you can meet the eye-eared rabbit, the sly fox, the swift eagle and the gentle fallow deer there as well.
The augmented reality application itself is very spectacular, as the animals are displayed in 3D, their design is detailed and they also move.
They blink and rotate and appear on your mobile screen in proportion to the objects in the environment and to people: so you can stand next to them and "hug" them and pose next to them.
Thus, the Experience Forest application provides a fun and fascinating experience for both young and old.NATURE PHOTOS IN THE VISITATION CENTEROne of the interesting features of the application is that it can bring to life one of the nature photos located in the Festetics Imre Experience Center.
József Mesterházi (retired district manager, forester, nature photographer) took great nature pictures in the Bakony region, and we can see them in parallax placement with the help of the application.
This means that the layers almost separate from each other, and the two-dimensional image becomes spatial through the screen of our phone: the landscape begins to move before our eyes.INTRODUCING THE SELFIE APPThe FIÉK AR “Selfie” application has retained the function of the original Experience Forest AR application, that we are able to visualize forest animals in our own environment in 3D.
In addition, however, the House of Nature is also full of beautiful nature photos.
By directing the application to such an image, the parallax is displayed in 3D, so visitors can truly experience the beauty of the forest environment.
Also, from what the AR application got its name from: we have also included a selfie filter, with which you can place the image of forest animals on your own face and smile into the camera as, for example, a deer or a sly fox.
The app tracks facial expressions, so the result was particularly entertaining.
